ABOUT US
As a company, as you can probably tell, we're all about great cleaning and friendly service. As people, we're probably a lot like you. We're business owners, home owners and parents. We work, we volunteer, and we do the best we can through the highs and lows and all the in-betweens in life. We try to leave this world a little better than we found it each day, or at least not worse. And we clean. We do that a lot.

Where are you located? We are located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Do you provide in-suite cleaning? No. Our focus is on the common areas outside your condo unit.

Do you shampoo or steam clean carpet? No. We will manually clean small spots and messes, but we are not a carpet cleaning company.

What are your business hours? Our business hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Are you licensed and insured? Absolutely. We are a registered business in the province of Alberta, we are WCB compliant, and we carry commercial insurance.

What other kinds of cleaning do you offer? Our focus is primarily on common area cleaning for condominium properties. However, within that sector, we perform a range of clearing services including but not limited to, construction cleaning, junk removal, pressure washing, litter removal, and carpet spot cleaning.

Are there any discounts available? We offer prompt payment discounts. Pay your monthly bill within 14 days of receipt and get a rebate on your next invoice.

How long have you been in business? PPS has been in business since 2010. Back the PPS stood for Prestige Property Services. The name was changed in 2018 to Paige Property Services.

Can you provide references from other condominium properties you service? Yes, we will provide references from past and current clients of PPS. Also, check out our testimonial section to see some general feedback from our clients.

Do you offer any specialty cleaning services (eg. Carpet cleaning, window washing)? While maintenance cleaning is our focus, we do offer other cleaning and janitorial services as well. Check out our Services section or contact us for details.

How do you train your staff? When a new cleaner joins our team, they receive hands-on, on-the-job training. We also regularly work in teams and tandems, meaning every individual cleaner is supported by the whole PPS team, and PPS ownership regularly reviews staff performance and provides regular feedback, training and support to all our staff.

What is your staff turnover rate? Cleaning is not the most glamorous work out there. It’s physical, repetitive and sometimes tedious, and its not for everyone over the long term, and we’re ok with that. However, our friendly, low-stress work environment and focus on teamwork and support make PPS an attractive option for potential employees who are the right fit for our service. We’ve found that those who are a good fit tend to stick around, and speak well and fondly of their time with PPS when they eventually move on to bigger and better things.

What does a typical cleaning schedule look like? Cleaning schedules are divided by task and frequency. We will help you with recommendations and advice during the consultation to create an appropriate and cost-effective cleaning plan.

How do you ensure the quality of your cleaning services? First by working with you to design a clear, custom cleaning plan that maximizes the value of your cleaning service. Then we stick to the process. When the same people clean your property the same way, at about the same time each week, it means that you will never have to wonder when the cleaners are coming or what they will do when they arrive. Consistency and discipline are key to maintaining quality over time. PPS regularly inspects and assesses our customers' properties to ensure that the process is being adhered to, and to recommend and implement improvements to training, equipment and products.

What is your process for handling damages or incidents that occur during cleaning? In three ways: Slow is Smooth, Smooth is Fast. We focus on safety and awareness while we are on your property to eliminate the risk of property damage and personal injury. Record and Report. We will always let you know when damage or anything unusual occurs while we are on site, whether we caused it, witnessed it, or discovered it during your cleaning appointment. In the unlikely event that we do damage your property; we carry commercial insurance.

What is your pricing structure? Every property is unique. Our prices are based on the scope and frequency of your service needs, and the size of your property.

Do you use eco-friendly cleaning products? Almost all of our cleaning is focused on removing dirt, grime, allergens and other pollutants from your common areas. We use simple, tried and true cleaning methods and products for most cleaning activities. If you have specific “eco-friendly” cleaning products you would like us to use, we can clarify that during the consult to ensure you are comfortable with how we provide service and what products we use to do the work.

How do you communicate with property managers and board members? In person, by phone, or by email. We will get back to you, usually the same business day, or by the next business day. Service requests are by appointment only, but we can usually schedule your service within two business days.

What is your response time for addressing concerns or issues? All customer concerns will be responded to within one business day. If an on-site meeting is needed to address concerns, we will attend your property and meet with our designated contact within two business days.

Are you compliant with legal regulations and industry standards? Yes. We are WCB compliant, insured, and clear with our customers about what we can and cannot do as far as cleaning services.
